Key Responsibilities- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) duties within the bedrooms, working from a provided PPM jobsheet and ensuring all tasks are completed as required.
- Inspect and repair furniture, wardrobes, and other bedroom facilities, ensuring all are functional and in good condition.
- Check and maintain windows and doors, ensuring they are secure and operational.
- Ensure all health and safety checks are completed and documented, and regularly inspect equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent unexpected breakdowns, and keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Previous experience in a maintenance role is preferred, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
