We're seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Centre Manager to provide productive management and leadership, driving profitability and focusing on the customer journey. You'll divide your time between the workshop, working alongside technicians, and assisting with daily sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high customer satisfaction and experience through effective management
  • Coach and train colleagues to achieve excellence
  • Meet compliance standards across Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • IT proficiency, with a willingness to learn in-house systems
  • Good time management and a current valid driving licence
