Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

Lighthouse Green Fuels, a pioneering company in the field of Advanced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team at our site in Teesside. As a critical member of our team, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our SAF project, which is set to revolutionize the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Manage and oversee various types of projects, including installation, modifications, and maintenance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, identify areas for improvement, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors and OEM suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Analyze data to compile engineering reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce engineering downtime.
  • Provide on-call support for critical projects and operations.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant field, such as control systems engineering, industrial automation, or process control.
  • Extensive experience in industrial plant/process industry, with a strong background in control systems and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in Full Industrial Process Control Instrumentation Systems, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature.
  • Experience working with Delta V, Modbus, CIO, and Charms.SIS.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance systems, such as SAP and MAXIMO.
  • Commissioning experience on large plants.
