ARM is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join a dynamic organization in Teesside. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in all facets of the Purchasing and Supply Chain operations to ensure effective delivery to clients globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Repair and Technical Orders (RTOs), as well as Purchase and Repair Orders.
  • Follow up on pending Quotations, Orders, and Repairs to guarantee adherence to delivery timelines.
  • Maintain established reorder levels while applying economic batch ordering and industry best practices.
  • Create and update reports on shortages and open orders.
  • Foster and sustain positive relationships with suppliers, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address inquiries related to Purchase Orders, Technical Support, Production Assistance, Invoices, and Quality Issues.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review supplier performance.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in the procurement of aircraft components, raw materials, and chemicals is preferred.
  • Background in the aerospace or aviation sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to engage, influence, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to respond, negotiate, and manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is essential.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • CIPS Level 4 certification or progress towards it is preferred.
