Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader/Team Leader to join our team at Toad Hall Nursery Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery, ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed to an exemplary standard.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment of staff, including shortlisting, interviewing, and observing safer recruitment practices.
  • Marketing and Social Media: Assist in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.
  • Key Person: Fulfill the role of key person to an exemplary standard, providing a positive role model for team members.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Suitable qualifications include an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
  • DBS Check: A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
