About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract, possibly longer. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a crucial role in processing payroll for approximately 1,000 employees, including both weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll for 1,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the HR and systems implementation project to streamline payroll and HR functions.
- Collaborate closely with the payroll team to ensure seamless integration of new systems.
- Assist with payroll queries, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity throughout the payroll process.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, ideally within a manufacturing or large organisation.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll and HR systems experience, ideally with ADP is highly desirable.
- Ability to process high-volume payroll, with a strong attention to detail.
- Confident working as part of a payroll team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with employees at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.
