Job Title: EMEA Reinsurance Account Manager

Aon is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our EMEA reinsurance team in London.

About the Role:

The Account Manager - EMEA will be a client-facing role, primarily responsible for the technical and administrative support of EMEA business, working closely with account executives and client teams in the placing and servicing of reinsurance placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working in partnership with the account executive and client team in the marketing of reinsurance placements, involving communication with clients, reinsurers, and colleagues from regional Aon offices.
  • Generation and review of contractual documentation, including contract wordings, endorsements, and evidence of cover, ensuring that they satisfy requirements for all contracting parties.
  • Production of client and market submissions and presentations, including collection and analysis of data.
  • Monitoring of placements, recording progress, and providing regular updates.
  • Resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers, involving liaison with colleagues within other departments as necessary.
  • Population and maintenance of data within Aon's IT systems.
  • Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any group company.
Requirements:
  • Education to A Level standard, with either market experience or degree standard education or equivalent.
  • Good technical understanding of Reinsurance preferred and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Language: English at business level.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good level of numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to.
