We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our experienced team of clinicians, providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to older adults with complex mental health needs.
As an Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for undertaking psychological assessments, contributing to risk assessments and formulations, and assisting in the delivery of specialist psychological interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake psychological assessments of clients referred to the team, using a range of assessment tools and techniques.
- Contribute to risk assessments and formulations, working closely with other team members to develop effective risk management plans.
- Assist qualified therapy staff in the delivery of specialist psychological interventions, including individual, group, and family work.
- Contribute to the development of standardised psychological intervention packages, which can be implemented by other team members within a stepped care model.
