Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to become part of our Technical team at Bakkavor Meals. Our facility employs over 700 individuals and specializes in producing chilled Italian ready meals and contemporary deli products for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Technical Management Support:** Assist with the administrative functions of the Technical Department, including QMS, HACCP, legal specifications, Technical Reports, and compliance logs. This role involves data entry, trend analysis, information requests, and coordinating actions.
- **Communication:** Ensure effective and professional communication with customers. Participate in customer audits and visits, leading discussions in areas of expertise.
- **Audit Functions:** Conduct internal audits as part of the QMS. Track actions and non-conformances, reporting findings to relevant forums. Collaborate with the Technical management team to ensure compliance with current standards and legislation.
- **New Product Development:** Collaborate with the team to implement changes related to product launches, discontinuations, and promotional activities.
- **Team Support:** Provide support to other members of the Technical team as needed and be adaptable to cover various tasks, including involvement in projects.
- **Health & Safety:** Maintain a safe working environment and contribute to ongoing improvements in health and safety practices.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in a technical role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible work approach and professionalism at all times.
