Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team as a Technical Field Service Specialist. As a key member of our National Response Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality field-based technical expertise to our customers across the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers in the field, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Conduct site visits to diagnose and repair electrical equipment, as well as perform routine maintenance and servicing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of technical activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- Good technical electrical/electronics skills, with a minimum HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical/electrical engineering.
- Experience in a field service role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles, including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and PC hardware is an advantage.
- Excellent PC literacy and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to resolving technical issues.
- Full current UK driving license and flexibility to work overtime, including weekends as required.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £35,000pa, with a realistic salary of £45,000+ and additional benefits.
