About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nurse to join our team in the Department of Interventional Radiology at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will make an important contribution to the care and management of both inpatients and outpatients requiring interventional procedures in an acute Trust setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assisting and circulating in the Interventional Radiology Suite
  • Recovering post general anaesthetic patients and managing pain
  • Developing skills and experience in recovering post general anaesthetic patients and pain management
  • Participating in the care of paediatric patients in the Evelina Children's Hospital, interventional radiology, and cardiac cath Lab
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse on the NMC register
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Flexible and positive approach to work
  • Experience of administering intravenous drug therapy
