Job Title: Clinical Lead for Neuropsychiatry Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at the Welsh Neuropsychiatry Service, University Hospital Llandough. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of therapists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The Clinical Lead will act as a professional leader for Therapies staff at clinical, operational, and strategic levels. You will be responsible for ensuring our contribution to implementing national and local service improvement is well defined, positively impacting recovery, health, and well-being for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of therapists in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement service improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to team members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience in a therapy position at senior level
  • Experience of presenting to a range of audiences
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision
  • Experience of teaching other disciplines
  • Evidence of leading a clinical team and assisting in the planning and developing of an existing service
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • MSc or relevant higher-level qualification
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Therapy
  • NHS experience
