Key Responsibilities

Facilitate and evaluate essential knowledge and comprehension for students. Take charge of documenting student advancement, encouraging and inspiring learners to meet objectives and enhance their skills for future progression. Assess effective teaching and learning strategies to cater to the varied needs of students. Modify curriculum delivery techniques to optimize effectiveness, including the integration of technology. Design, prepare, and develop comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans, and educational resources, including online learning materials for specified modules. Conduct engaging sessions across the curriculum utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies for designated modules. Create and implement effective assessment strategies for specified modules. Evaluate student submissions, provide constructive and timely feedback to motivate and inspire improvement, and document learner progress for specified modules.

Candidate Profile

Possess an Honours Degree in a relevant field, with pertinent experience in teaching students aged 16-18 up to level 3. Hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE). Have a relevant highest level vocational qualification or degree in teaching science as a subject. Inspire, motivate, and engage the upcoming generation of business leaders. Act with integrity and uphold high ethical and professional standards. Promote and manage restorative practices and enhance relationships. Serve as a role model and advocate for a positive representation of the college. Adhere to all legislative and regulatory obligations.
