Become a Member of Our Aviation Airfield Division
As our new Senior Civil Engineer, you will integrate into our specialized airfield civil engineering team, consisting of five seasoned airfield engineers. While our core team operates from a flexible location, we are eager to expand our team based on a robust future pipeline of work for both civil and military clients. This role requires a curious mindset, capable of developing innovative and sustainable solutions to meet our clients' needs. Opportunities for travel, both domestically and internationally, may arise.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Overseeing project management
- Conducting civil design across all RIBA stages for both traditional and design-and-build procurement
- Managing project costs and budgets
- Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff
Your Pathway to Continuous Growth

- Significant experience in delivering civil engineering services across all RIBA work stages
- Extensive experience in conducting technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations
- Proven experience in designing new civil infrastructure
- Experience in reviewing, assessing, and designing modifications to existing civil infrastructure
- Chartered engineer status or progress towards chartership
- Thorough experience in delivering civil design in compliance with Eurocode and UK Building Regulations
- Understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, including the Principal Designer role
