Principal Civil Engineer

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our team at Aqua Consultants. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of complex civil engineering projects, with a focus on the water and utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including water retaining structures, soil retaining structures, and foundation design.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting their professional development and growth.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on the water and utilities sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering codes, including Eurocodes and BSI.
