Ethero is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees, leading and developing a team of team leaders, and maintaining skilled staffing levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the health and safety of all employees, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Lead and develop a team of team leaders, including performance management, absence, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
- Take full headcount ownership for directs and indirects within your reporting line, ensuring skilled staffing levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager to drive manufacturing excellence and process improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of green belt level certification in lean manufacturing or a related field.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
- Fully trained in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and auditing capabilities.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement activities and their application in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work across a three-shift pattern, including flexibility to work varied hours.
