Position: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Location: Liverpool Street, London

Compensation: £25,000 - £45,000 (First year base + OTE)

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and reaching out to candidates - establishing direct communication with both active and passive candidates to update their information, discuss career goals, assess availability, and perform initial candidate evaluations while maintaining accurate records in the database.
  • Offering career guidance to candidates - assisting them throughout the interview journey.
  • Coordinating and confirming candidate interviews as requested by clients.
  • Generating leads through consistent candidate engagement, market research, and intelligence gathering.
  • Building new client relationships and providing valuable market insights.
  • Conducting reference checks to help validate candidates and create opportunities with new clients.
  • Maintaining relationships with candidates and clients to ensure adherence to quality standards and service level agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong confidence, resilience, and the capability to perform under pressure.
  • A 2:1 degree from a 23/24 cohort is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in sales or a commercial environment is advantageous.
  • You MUST have a clear understanding of the recruitment process and be ready to engage in a sales-oriented role.
