We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Gordon Yates Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales and revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals
- Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement sales and marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven sales experience in a related industry, preferably with a focus on capital equipment and materials handling
- Strong networking and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- A positive and proactive approach to sales and business development
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A basic salary of £43,000 per annum
- A performance-related bonus of up to £10,000 per annum
- A fully expensed hybrid vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone

- 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
