We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding school in Richmond.

Responsibilities

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide support and assistance to students with SEND, specifically those with ADHD, Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN) and associated difficulties.

  • Implement EHCP's in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for students' academic and personal development.
Requirements

We are looking for a compassionate and patient individual with:

  • Relevant experience working with students with ADHD, SEMH, SLCN and associated difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday (8:30-15:30) term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
