Job Title: Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Silcom Recruitment Limited. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in driving financial success and providing insightful analysis for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and financial statements.
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining variances.
  • Monitor and control costs, providing recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Manage and forecast cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Evaluate profitability of products, projects, or departments, providing insights for strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Utilise financial reporting tools and software to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
