About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Officer to join our development team at Buxton Opera House & Pavilion Arts Centre.

As a National Portfolio Organisation, we are experiencing significant growth in our restricted and unrestricted income, and we need a talented individual to help us achieve our fundraising goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in membership, individual giving, sales and relationship management, or trust and foundations fundraising, and will be able to lead on small and medium trust and foundations applications.

Key responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for funding, creating compelling cases for support, building relationships with trusts and foundations, and writing successful funding bids.

The post holder will also be responsible for reporting back to funders in a timely fashion and building lasting relationships with the trusts and foundations we work with.
