Clinical Psychologist for Older Adults

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in North Hertfordshire, providing specialist services for older adults with mental health issues and dementia. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will work autonomously to deliver high-quality assessments, interventions, and support to individuals, families, and carers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialist clinical psychology services for older adults with mental health issues and dementia.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive assessments, interventions, and support.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, including cognitive rehabilitation, psychological therapies, and positive behavioral support.
- Provide consultation, supervision, and training to other team members and external agencies.
- Contribute to service development, research, and audit activities, utilizing your research and training skills to inform practice.
- Doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology or equivalent.
- Registered as a clinical/counselling psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Additional post-graduate training or qualification in a specific psychological therapy or Neuropsychology.
