Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Nurse Therapist to join our team in the Western Isles. As an Interface Nurse Therapist for CAMHs and Learning Disability Services, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between services, working closely with local statutory and voluntary agencies to provide high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and their families in a community setting.
  • Consult with schools and local agencies as part of the GIRFEC framework.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and strategies.

Requirements

  • First-level Registered Mental Nurse or Learning Disability qualification.
  • Post-registration experience within acute community care.
  • Education to degree level or experiential equivalent.
  • Experience within a Learning Disability or CAMHS Service or the ability to deliver psychological therapies for those with neurodevelopmental conditions.
