Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Learning Disability/CAMHs Link Nurse Therapist. The successful candidate will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our Learning Disability and CAMHs services, working closely with local agencies and statutory bodies to provide high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and their families, working within the community setting.
  • Consult with schools and local agencies as part of the GIRFEC framework, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including statutory and voluntary agencies.
  • Contribute to the development of our CAMHs and Learning Disability services, ensuring they meet the new National Service Specifications and standards for care.

Requirements:

  • First-level Registered Mental Nurse or Learning Disability qualification.
  • Post-registration experience within acute community care.
  • Education to degree level or experiential equivalent.
  • Experience within a Learning Disability or CAMHs Service or the ability to deliver psychological therapies for those with neurodevelopmental conditions.
