About the Role

We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our community children and adolescent mental health team as an Inreach/Outreach Mental Health Practitioner. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring the service maintains its high standards of quality care and compassion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing specialized assistance and interventions to children, young individuals, and their families in various settings, including homes, children's wards, and community settings.
  • Supporting recovery and delivering interventions in the least restrictive environment possible, with a focus on ensuring the youth's voice is at the core of all activities.
  • Collaborating with families and other organizations to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

  • Professional degree or equivalent qualification and registration in nursing, social work, OT, or another relevant profession with relevant CAMHS background.
  • Prior training in CAMHS or therapeutic methods with children, young individuals, and families.
