The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience, ensuring a seamless check-in process, and assisting guests throughout their stay with any queries or requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, as well as processing payments and handling guest complaints.
- Operate hotel reservation systems, manage guest records, and maintain accurate records of guest interactions.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage teams, to ensure seamless guest service.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
