Wood is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our team in delivering cutting-edge projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, including health and safety, quality, and environmental risks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a construction management role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction disciplines and associated processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and industry-wide Safe Systems of Work.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as an ONC/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Vocational qualifications, such as NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, and CCNSG certifications.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplined projects in the pharmaceutical, batch chemical production, or other relevant industries.
