About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art Bodyshop in Faringdon Ave, Romford. As an MET Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components on a wide range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs, including ADAS calibration and wheel alignment
- Dismantle vehicles to prepare them for panel repairs
- Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
- Manage and order replacement parts
- Reassemble vehicles with new parts to restore them to pre-accident condition
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding the progress of repairs
About You
We are looking for a skilled MET Technician with solid experience in accident repair. You should thrive under pressure, maintain high standards, and be committed to delivering outstanding results.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as an MET Technician, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles
- Competency in ADAS, wheel alignment, strip/refit, mechanical repairs, and using diagnostic tools
- Ability to manage workloads efficiently to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work follows manufacturer specifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and a customer-focused approach
- Commitment to Health & Safety standards, maintaining a clean workspace and wearing appropriate PPE
