Reliability Maintenance Specialist

At Amazon UK Services Ltd., we're looking for a skilled Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance the operational environment and implement best practices across our EU sites.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks, such as painting and plumbing, and liaise with contractors as needed.
  • Work on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock, allowing Amazon to deliver at the speed we're known for.

As a Reliability Maintenance Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the general maintenance of a site. You'll also have the chance to work with a range of equipment, including print and apply machines.

Requirements:
  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
