The Company

Boyd Recruitment is working with a well-established M&E Contractor to find an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to be based in Glasgow.

Our client is a reputable player in the Scottish construction industry and is seeking a key team member to oversee projects in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

Due to recent contract wins, they are looking to add a Mechanical Project Manager to work on a variety of commercial, education, healthcare, and residential projects. Experience in healthcare projects would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical packages on large build projects.
  • Working closely with the site team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Providing support on project planning, scheduling, productivity, and progression.
  • Producing project reports and managing risk assessments.
  • Maintaining health and safety on site, including reports and actions.

Requirements

  • Ambitious individual with a drive to establish themselves as a senior leader within the company.
  • Strong plumbing or heating engineer background.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of site programmes and project delivery.
  • IT proficiency with Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Valid driving license to enable travel to live sites.
