Support Worker

Join our team as a Support Worker, with both Full Time and Part Time positions available. We offer a competitive pay rate of £13.61 per hour. Please note that driving is essential for this role, as the individuals we assist enjoy outings that may not align with public transport schedules.

Our facility, Cliffe View, is a charming residence with beautiful gardens, accommodating 13 individuals in total – 10 in the main house and 3 in self-contained flats. The residents we support are primarily older adults with diverse needs.

The individuals in our care appreciate engaging in social activities and visiting family and friends. They partake in various hobbies, including painting, tai chi, crazy golf, and social events. Our mission is to empower them to maintain their independence and fulfill their personal goals.

We seek dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate individuals who are passionate about helping others reach their full potential. As part of our supportive team, you will prioritize the needs of those we assist. To thrive in this position, you should possess honesty, creativity, a sense of fun, and sound judgment. We promote independence and provide opportunities for our residents to enhance their skills. Being a driver is a crucial requirement for this role.

Benefits for Support Workers at Discovery include:

  • 30 days of paid Annual Leave (including public holidays – pro rata)
  • Opportunities for career advancement
  • Exclusive High Street Discounts on retail and entertainment (potential savings of up to £1200)
  • Life Assurance and Company Pension
  • Award-winning, industry-leading training programs
  • Enhanced DBS costs covered by us
  • Access to a salary advance scheme, allowing you to access up to 50% of your earned wages before payday.
