Lead Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a Lead Speech and Language Therapist to become part of a distinguished neuro rehabilitation service.

Service Excellence:
This top-tier service is highly specialized, catering to individuals with various neurological conditions, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, progressive diseases, and strokes.
To guarantee optimal care for patients, both internal and external training programs are available for every member of the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
The duties of this role encompass:
- Conducting uni-professional, multi-professional, and specialized Speech and Language Therapy evaluations utilizing evidence-based outcome measures.
- Providing education, training, and guidance to junior Speech and Language Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, and staff from various disciplines.
- Engaging in research projects, with the Ethics Committee's approval, employing an appropriate research framework.
- Managing and prioritizing an individual caseload effectively.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC. A background in neuro rehabilitation, neurology, or stroke, along with experience in management and leadership, is also required.
