We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Planner to join our team at Edwards & Pearce. As a key member of our Supply Chain Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive logistics plan for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust weekly logistics plan to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of our services.
- Coordinate with drivers to allocate collections and deliveries in accordance with WTD/Drivers hours rules.
- Manage imports and exports of product, coordinating haulage and preparing relevant paperwork as required.
- Work closely with the production team and Supply Chain Manager to manage material flow in/out.
- Support the implementation and development of systems to improve logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
