About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Care Assistant to join our team at a beautiful care home in Bolsover. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and mental wellbeing, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily life and personal care, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Support residents with physical and mental wellbeing, including mobility and handling tasks.
  • Engage residents in activities that promote a high quality of life, such as social events, hobbies, and exercise programs.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, building strong relationships and trust.
Working Hours

As a Care Assistant, you will work weekend shifts, with two available options:

  • 07:00 to 14:15
  • 14:00 to 22:00
Requirements
  • 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
  • In-date mandatory training certificates, including Practical Moving and Handling Training.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the Update Service.
  • Minimum 12 months paid UK work experience in a care home or nursing home setting.
  • Full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history.
