This role involves transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to diverse destinations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough daily vehicle safety checks.
- Verify that loads are securely fastened for safe transportation.
- Perform general haulage operations, potentially including chilled or refrigerated products.
- Deliver goods to a range of locations, including distribution centers, local depots, and commercial sites.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality throughout all deliveries.
- Demonstrate flexibility and comfort working independently while operating various vehicle types.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (Category C+E) with no more than 6 points.
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
- Clean driving record, adhering to all traffic regulations and avoiding major offences such as DR, DD, TT99 or NI codes.
- Strict adherence to legislation regarding drivers' hours and break times (WTD regulations) and highway regulations.
- Commitment to both agency and client policies and procedures.
- Take ownership of the quality of work delivered.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday.
- Start times may vary.
- Weekend availability is required.
