About the Role:

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Coach to join their team. As a Learning Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of children and young people with unmet needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people, adhering to safeguarding procedures and protocols.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through professional communication.
  • Facilitation: Design and deliver bespoke interventions, pastoral, and academic sessions to support students' needs and progress.
  • Leadership: Lead pre-planned 1:1 sessions in school and community centers, promoting positive relationships and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the SENCo to identify and support students' needs, ensuring access arrangements are in place.
  • Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate records of student progress, providing evidence of growth and development.
  • Role Modeling: Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude, setting a good example for students and colleagues alike.
  • Activity Planning: Develop and deliver activities that cater to students' interests and strengths, promoting engagement and motivation.
  • Barrier Identification: Identify and address barriers to learning, working collaboratively with teachers and the pastoral team to overcome challenges.
