Role Overview

Frasers Group is seeking a Compensation Specialist to become part of our dynamic team. This position entails managing all statutory payments and deductions in accordance with legislation. Responsibilities include calculating salary adjustments, including back pay and pro-rata payments as necessary, as well as determining final payments for departing employees, including accrued vacation entitlements. Additionally, you will be responsible for calculating and overseeing overpayments in line with our established overpayment procedures. You will also verify that the pay for hourly employees aligns with the Time & Attendance system and efficiently resolve any pay-related inquiries.

Required Qualifications

Solid understanding and experience in providing comprehensive payroll guidance at all levels. In-depth knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, and all statutory components such as Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Sick Pay, etc. Exceptional administrative and organizational capabilities. Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to manage multiple priorities with a keen attention to detail. Capacity to handle a high volume of transactions. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is essential.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with payroll systems - familiarity with ITRENT is advantageous, though training will be provided. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
