Role Overview

Frasers Group is seeking a Compensation Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This position entails managing all statutory payments and deductions in accordance with legislation. Responsibilities include calculating salary adjustments, including back pay and pro-rata payments as necessary, as well as determining final payments for departing employees, including accrued vacation entitlements. Additionally, you will be responsible for calculating and overseeing overpayments in line with our established procedures. You will also verify that the pay for hourly employees aligns with the Time and Attendance system and efficiently resolve any pay-related inquiries.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in providing comprehensive payroll guidance at all levels. In-depth understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, and all statutory components such as Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Sick Pay. Exceptional administrative and organizational capabilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to manage multiple priorities with a keen attention to detail. Capacity to handle high-volume transactions effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with payroll systems; experience with ITRENT is advantageous, though training will be provided. Confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
