THE ROLE

We are on the lookout for individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, customer-focused, and diligent. We need a problem solver who prioritizes customer satisfaction. As an e-bike repair specialist, you will be a vital part of Zoomo, ensuring that our customers enjoy an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on e-bikes, e-mopeds, and e-cargo vehicles, adhering to the high standards set by Zoomo.
  • Diagnose necessary services, troubleshoot issues, and service Zoomo e-bikes to ensure they are returned to riders in a safe and fully operational state.
  • Perform inspections on the fleet and returned vehicles to check for cosmetic damage and ensure all electronic and essential components are functioning correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Assist with front-of-house operations.
  • Uphold our values while interacting with Zoomo riders and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Experience as a bicycle mechanic (electric or traditional); candidates from automotive or motorcycle backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Willingness to work across multiple locations.
  • Cytech Level 2 bicycle mechanics certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of bicycle assembly and repair processes.
  • Familiarity with various types of bicycles and accessories.
  • Experience with e-bikes or lithium-ion battery systems.
  • Relevant industry experience in cycling, food delivery, mobility, or technology.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and at different sites.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, working alongside Zoomo teams globally.
  • Strong organizational skills and capability to maintain inventory logs.
  • A genuine passion for bicycles.
