Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Data Governance Frameworks

Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across the organization.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with IT, Digitalization, and business teams to support the build of products and solutions focusing on data quality, data issue tracking, data modeling, data lineage, analytics, visualization, and value extraction.

Communicate with Business Stakeholders

Communicate with business stakeholders to offer guidance and solutions, and maintain a good working relationship with clients, operating staff, and third parties.

Document Business Data

Document business data, requirements, activities, process maps, and associated data flows.

Generate Conceptual and Logical Data Models

Generate conceptual and logical data models and identify master data, material data, and data issues working closely with the network of data stewards.

Provide Support to Data Stewards

Provide support to data stewards to raise data issues, progress documenting the AS-IS data picture, and work towards the TO-BE data picture and final resolution of data issues.

Progress Work Using Agile Ways of Working

Progress work using both waterfall and agile ways of working and use DevOps systems.

Assess Value Returned through Data Issue Resolution

Assess the value returned through data issue resolution directly and indirectly downstream of the issue identified.

Develop Data Collection Processes

Develop data collection processes to generate information for use in quality control and other analytics value applications.

Present Results Clearly

Present results clearly and to an appropriate level for the audience/user, often non-technical.

Design and Develop Dashboards

Design and develop dashboards and engaging data visualizations. Experience with data visualization tools is an advantage.

Maintain Up-to-Date Awareness of Data Governance Industry Products

Maintain up-to-date awareness of Data Governance industry products, standards, legislation, and best practice.

Communicate Knowledge and Experience

Communicate knowledge and experience in modern Data theory and Data Driven/Centric models.
