Job Title: Director - Motorsport

MLS Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director - Motorsport to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the championship, teams, governing body, and race director with daily and race weekend sporting matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, implement, and improve rules and regulations for teams and the championship.
  • Efficiently organize regulatory processes and optimize sporting operations to meet objectives.
  • Review processes used by Race Control and Teams, including defining and monitoring specifications for key suppliers.
  • Provide detailed reports after each event, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Support recruitment and training of pilots in collaboration with the academy lead.
  • Investigate serious accidents and make recommendations to improve Risk Management procedures.
  • Work alongside the Technical team to improve the Sporting format.
  • Monitor Spare parts management and distribution to teams.
  • Manage the implementation of a future prize money pool for teams.
Requirements:
  • Highly qualified technical knowledge of watersports/motorsport.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Fluent English: proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel, including work during holidays and weekends.

As a Sporting Manager, you will be an effective project manager who combines listening skills, communication skills, and forecasting skills to manage situations. You will report to the Chief Executive and liaise closely with other departmental directors to ensure the implementation of the Sporting format.
