Mobile Plant Fitter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at J Devine Plant Hire Careers. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining our plant fleet, ensuring that our equipment is in good working condition and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair plant failures using Mig and Arc welding equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers.
  • Use your expertise to carry out repairs and maintenance on a variety of plant equipment, including Hitachi, Thwaite, and JCB machines.
  • Undertake other service work and repair work on vehicles as required.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence for at least 3 years and have experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
  • Work independently, but also as part of a team, to achieve our goals.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in plant maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
