Mobile Service Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of a range of powered access equipment within the depot and on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products
  • Complete all relevant supporting paperwork in line with company procedures
  • Promote teamwork between colleagues across all depots, to ensure delivery of effective workshop performance
  • Ensure the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times
  • Ensure service records are maintained and updated onto systems and daily worksheets are populated

Requirements:

  • Relevant general maintenance qualification and proven experience gained within the plant rental sector preferred
  • Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding
  • Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service
