Commercial Insurance Consultant - SME Focus

Location: Hybrid Working Available

Our client, a distinguished independent insurance brokerage, is on the lookout for a skilled Commercial Insurance Consultant to enhance their team.

The Role:
Our client is in search of an experienced and driven Commercial Insurance Consultant to propel their business forward.

In this capacity, you will be tasked with managing and expanding a portfolio of SME clients, offering expert insights, and providing outstanding customer service.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with both new and existing SME clients
  • Perform comprehensive risk evaluations and deliver tailored insurance solutions
  • Engage in negotiations with insurers to secure optimal terms and premiums for clients
  • Draft and present insurance proposals to clients
  • Manage policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims assistance
  • Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulatory updates
  • Contribute to the brokerage's growth strategies and business development efforts

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Insurance Consultant, ideally with a focus on SMEs
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the UK insurance landscape
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities
  • Capability to build and sustain client relationships
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • Self-driven with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • CII qualifications (Cert CII or Dip CII) are preferred
