Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team at Get Recruited (UK) Ltd. As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting and producing renewal terms, negotiating terms and securing renewals with partner brokers, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be the point of contact for broker partners and will be responsible for:

  • Underwriting and producing renewal terms, or mid-term adjustments for our insurer partners
  • Negotiating terms and securing renewals with partner brokers
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive customer journey
  • Prioritizing and meeting deadlines, ensuring you follow company policies and procedures
  • Constantly taking the initiative to develop your own technical and soft skills

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of Underwriting principles and practice
  • Good risk analysis and technical skills
  • A trading mindset and commercial awareness
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
