About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the control and delivery of construction projects to meet client specifications (safety, quality, cost, time, etc.) such that all budget, risk, specification, project timescales, customer and business objectives are met in full.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall delivery of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of site staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans, ensuring that all site staff are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality control records.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve site efficiency, productivity, and quality, ensuring that projects are delivered to the required standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of site staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols, with the ability to develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records of site activities.
