Midwife Opportunity in Inner Moray Firth

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Midwife to join our Inner Moray Firth Community Midwifery Team. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team based at Clava Unit New Craig's site in Inverness. The role requires flexibility, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Community experience is desirable but not essential. The post offers a 37-hour permanent contract with a 7-day service, including an on-call commitment for the Home Birth/Domino service. A full driving licence and use of a car with business insurance are essential for this role. Only applicants with a current NMC pin and current UK driving licence will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality midwifery care to women and their families in the Inner Moray Firth community.
  • Work collaboratively with the community midwifery team to deliver a 7-day service.
  • Participate in the development of the community midwife hub, including the day assessment unit.
  • Contribute to the provision of a Home Birth/Domino service within the Inner Moray Firth community midwifery team.
