Your Responsibilities:

  • Uphold high standards of quality within the nursery, focusing on the environment, resources, and experiences provided to children.
  • Take on key carer duties for assigned children.
  • Ensure that every child in the nursery enjoys enriching and engaging experiences tailored to their developmental stage.
  • Prepare and facilitate children's activities.
  • In the absence of the Team/Room Leader, manage the playroom effectively on a day-to-day basis.
  • Contribute to ensuring that nursery practices align with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
  • Support and mentor students and unqualified staff to promote high-quality childcare practices.
