Job Summary:

Grandir UK is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our Dicky Birds after school club in Surbiton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children, providing individualized care and support.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing environment that fosters children's sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and effective communication.
  • Support and mentor students and unqualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the welfare and safety of children.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in early childhood education and care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
