Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Educational Support Assistant seeking a rewarding full-time opportunity?


A well-equipped Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) unit within a sixth-form educational institution is in search of dedicated Educational Support Assistants to enhance their team.


In this role, you will be an integral part of a specialized SEND unit, catering to a diverse group of students aged 16 to 18 who present various learning and developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and sensory processing difficulties.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored support to students within the SEND unit.
  • Addressing students' emotional and social requirements by promoting and exemplifying positive behavior in accordance with the institution's Behavioral Guidelines.
  • Delivering one-on-one assistance as needed.
  • Contributing to the planning and execution of engaging activities.
  • Supervising students during non-classroom hours.
